Illinois High School Soccer - DeKalb nudges Harlem
September 26, 2024: DeKalb, IL 60115 The DeKalb Barbs soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Harlem Huskies to 3 in the Barbs non-league victory on Thursday.
The Barbs now hold a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Woodstock for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 28. DeKalb will play a Blue Streaks squad coming off a 2-2 league Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 9-6.
With the loss, Harlem moves to 8-4 on the year. The Huskies travel to Freeport (Freeport, IL) to play the Pretzels in a Northern Illinois NIC-10 bout on Tuesday, October 1. The Pretzels go into the bout with a record of 5-4.
