September 26, 2024: Malden, MA 02148 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Malden Catholic Lancers (Malden, MA) and the visiting Mystic Valley Regional Eagles (Malden, MA), saw Malden Catholic's soccer squad hold off Mystic Valley Regional by a count of 1-0.
The Lancers (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Xaverian Brothers (Westwood, MA). The Hawks enter the Catholic battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Xaverian Brothers tipped Natick (Natick, MA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Eagles battle the Pioneer Charter School of Science Panthers (Everett, MA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 1. Mystic Valley Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 7-2 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Boston Collegiate (Boston, MA).
