New Mexico High School Soccer - Valencia nudges Pojoaque Valley
September 26, 2024: Pojoaque, NM 87506 In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Valencia Jaguars soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes.
The Jaguars (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM). The Desert Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Santa Teresa got by Lovington (Lovington, NM), 4-3, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Elks/Elkettes confront the West Las Vegas Dons (Las Vegas, NM) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 28. Pojoaque Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Dons go into the outing with a 1-9 record after their 5-0 league loss to Santa Fe Prep (Santa Fe, NM).
