September 26, 2024: Youngstown, OH 44509 Chaney Cowboys (Youngstown, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Aquinas Knights (Louisville, OH), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Chaney improves its record to 2-10 on the season. The Cowboys host Valley Christian (Youngstown, OH) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 1-8. Valley Christian lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Columbiana (Columbiana, OH)
The Knights now own a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host John F. Kennedy Catholic for a Portage Trail - County test on Tuesday, October 1. Aquinas will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over East (Youngstown, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 10-6.
