September 26, 2024: Gordo, AL 35466 Gordo Green Wave (Gordo, AL) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Bibb County Choctaws (Centreville, AL), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Gordo advances its record to 7-5 on the season. The Green Wave host Pickens County (Reform, AL) to face the Tornadoes in a non-league test on Monday, September 30. The Tornadoes go into the test with a record of 2-10.
The Choctaws now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pickens County for a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. Bibb County will face a Tornadoes squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to South Lamar (Millport, AL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 2-9.
