With the win, Elk Rapids advances its record to 17-3 on the season. The Elks travel to St. Johns (St. Johns, MI) to face the Redwings in a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. The Redwings go into the test with a record of 18-4. St. Johns won 3-0 in their recent league test against Mason (Mason, MI)
The Rams now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kingsley for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1. Harbor Springs will face a Stags squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over St. Mary (Lake Leelanau, MI). The Stags record now stands at 25-5.
