The Ellis Railroaders volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Heartland Christian Crusaders to 0 in the Railroaders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Railroaders now have a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Macksville for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 28. Ellis will play a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Otis-Bison (Otis, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-9.

With the loss, Heartland Christian drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Northern Valley (Almena, KS) to play the Huskies in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 26.
