St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Monticello Sages (Monticello, IL), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, St. Thomas More improves its record to 18-1 on the season. The Sabers travel to Rochester (Rochester, IL) to face the Rockets in a non-league test on Friday, September 27. The Rockets go into the test with a record of 7-8. Rochester lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Quincy Notre Dame (Quincy, IL)

The Sages now own a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond for a non-league test on Monday, September 30. Monticello will face a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Okaw Valley (Bethany, IL). The Knights record now stands at 11-4.
