Ohio High School Volleyball - Shelby over River Valley

In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Shelby Whippets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the River Valley Vikings.

The Whippets (13-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lexington (Lexington, OH). The Minutemen come into the non-league challenge with a 13-2 record. In their last challenge, Lexington beat Mansfield Senior (Mansfield, OH), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Highland Fighting Scots (Marengo, OH) in a Mid-Ohio Athletic challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. River Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Fighting Scots come into the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Loudonville (Loudonville, OH).
