September 26, 2025: Avoca, IA The crowd at Friday's league contest between the AHSTW Vikings (Avoca, IA) and the visiting Southwest Valley (Corning, IA), witnessed AHSTW's football squad wallop Southwest Valley by a tally of 49-12.
The Vikings (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Mount Ayr (Mount Ayr, IA). The Raiders go into the A District 7 bout with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Mount Ayr crushed Central Decatur (Leon, IA), 64-6, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the battle the Nodaway Valley Wolverines (Greenfield, IA) in a A District 7 contest, on Friday, October 3. Southwest Valley will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Wolverines enter the contest with a 1-4 record after their 60-14 league loss to Riverside (Oakland, IA).
