Tennessee High School Football - Anderson County prevails Chattanooga Prep

September 26, 2025: Chattanooga, TN 37404

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Anderson County Mavericks football squad scored a good 28-8 triumph over the Chattanooga Prep Sentinels.

The Mavericks (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Gibbs (Corryton, TN). The Eagles go into the 4A Region 2 battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Gibbs prevailed over Lenoir City (Lenoir City, TN), 56-14, in a non-league battle.

The Sentinels now have a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Tyner Academy for a 3A Region 3 battle on Saturday, October 4. Chattanooga Prep will play a Rams team coming off a 34-0 non-league win over Cleveland (Cleveland, TN). The Rams record now stands at 6-0.
