North Carolina High School Football - Elkin crushed by Ashe County

The Ashe County Huskies walloped the host Elkin Buckin' Elks football team by a score of 52-17 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Huskies face the North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC) in a Mountain Valley 2A/3A/4A challenge, on Friday, October 3. Ashe County will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.

The Buckin' Elks (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC). The Eagles go into the Mountain Valley 2A/3A/4A challenge with a 3-1 record.
