The Brewer Bears football team scored 63 points and restricted the host Azle Hornets to 42 in the Bears league win on Friday.

In their next game, the Bears face the Denton Broncos (Denton, TX) in a 5A-1 Region I District 3 challenge, on Friday, October 3. Brewer will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Broncos come into the test with a 2-2 record after their 35-23 league win over Azle (Azle, TX).

With the defeat, Azle drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX) to meet the Hawks in a 5A-1 Region I District 3 test on Friday, October 3. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 2-3. Birdville lost 51-21 in their recent league test against Richland (North Richland Hills, TX)
