Texas High School Football - Ballinger nudges Stanton

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Ballinger Bearcats (Ballinger, TX) and the visiting Stanton Buffaloes (Stanton, TX), saw Ballinger's football team nip Stanton by a final score of 21-17.

With the win, Ballinger advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Hamilton (Hamilton, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 2A-1 Region II District 5 match on Friday, October 17. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 3-2.

Coming up next, the Buffaloes confront the Cornerstone Christian Warriors (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 2. Stanton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 3-2 record after their 37-21 non-league win over LBJ Austin (Austin, TX).
