September 26, 2025: Bend, OR 97701 Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Bend Lava Bears (Bend, OR) and the visiting Crook County Cowboys (Prineville, OR), saw Bend's football team gain a win over Crook County by a final score of 42-14.
With the win, Bend advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Lava Bears travel to Lebanon (Lebanon, OR) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league battle on Friday, October 3. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 3-1. Lebanon won 34-13 in their recent league battle against Corvallis (Corvallis, OR)
The Cowboys now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Mountain View for a 5A Intermountain match on Friday, October 3. Crook County will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 21-14 league loss to Summit (Bend, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 3-1.
