Maryland High School Football - Sherwood beat Blake

September 26, 2025: Sandy Spring, MD 20860

The Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD) football knocked off the visiting Blake Bengals (Silver Spring, MD), 21-12 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Warriors now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Clarksburg for a non-league outing on Friday, October 3. Sherwood will clash with a Coyotes squad coming off a 39-33 league win over Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD). The Coyotes record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Blake drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Bengals travel to Blair (Silver Spring, MD) to clash with the Blazers in a Class 4A North bout on Friday, October 3. The Blazers go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Blair won 42-0 in their recent non-league bout against Einstein (Kensington, MD)
