Iowa High School Football - Collins-Maxwell prevails GMG
September 26, 2025: Garwin, IA 50632 In Friday's league match, the visiting Collins-Maxwell football squad scored a good 55-24 triumph over the GMG Wolverines.
The (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA). The Rebels come into the 8-Man District 6 (8 Man) match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, Gladbrook-Reinbeck prevailed over Don Bosco (Gilbertville, IA), 42-27, in a non-league battle.
The Wolverines now have a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Tama for a 8-Man District 6 (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 3. GMG will play a Redhawks team coming off a 48-6 league win over Meskwaki Settlement (Tama, IA). The Redhawks record now stands at 2-3.
