David Douglas Scots (Portland, OR) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Parkrose Broncos (Portland, OR), 35-28 in a league battle.

With the win, David Douglas advances its record to 1-3 on the season. The Scots host Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts (Milwaukie, OR) to play the Mustangs in a 5A Special District 1 battle on Friday, October 3. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 3-0. Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts won 49-8 in their recent league battle against Centennial (Gresham, OR)

Coming up next, the Broncos confront the Centennial Eagles (Gresham, OR) in a 5A Special District 1 match, on Friday, October 3. Parkrose will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
