Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Decatur Eisenhower Panthers (Decatur, IL), 33-20 in a league battle.

With the win, Lincoln advances its record to 1-4 on the season. The Railsplitters travel to MacArthur (Decatur, IL) to play the Generals in a Central State Eight - East battle on Friday, October 3. The Generals go into the battle with a record of 4-1. MacArthur lost 49-0 in their recent league battle against Glenwood (Chatham, IL)

The Panthers now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Rochester for a Central State Eight - East battle on Friday, October 3. Decatur Eisenhower will confront a Rockets squad coming off a 56-7 league win over Normal University (Normal, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 4-1.
