New Jersey High School Football - Franklin holds off Edison

The Franklin Warriors football squad scored 33 points and limited the host Edison Eagles to 28 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Plainfield for a non-league game on Friday, October 3. Franklin will face a Cardinals team coming off a 41-25 non-league loss to Haverford School (Haverford, PA). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-3.

The Eagles (1-4) will now prepare for their outing against Colonia (Colonia, NJ). The Patriots come into the non-league outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Colonia edged Perth Amboy (Perth Amboy, NJ), 49-18, in a league outing.
