The Fairland Dragons felled the host South Point Pointers football team by a score of 35-21 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Dragons meet the Portsmouth Trojans (Portsmouth, OH) in a Ohio Valley test, on Friday, October 3. Fairland will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 3-3 record after their 49-0 league win over Chesapeake (Chesapeake, OH).

With the defeat, South Point drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Pointers travel to Chesapeake (Chesapeake, OH) to meet the Panthers in a Ohio Valley test on Friday, October 3.
