North Carolina High School Football - Pisgah falls to Franklin

September 26, 2025: Canton, NC 28716

The Franklin Panthers felled the host Pisgah Bears football squad by a margin of 37-26 in Friday's league test.

The Panthers now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Tuscola for a Mountain Eight 4A/5A test on Friday, October 3. Franklin will meet a Mountaineers squad coming off a 20-0 league win over Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC). The Mountaineers record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Pisgah drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Bears travel to West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC) to meet the Falcons in a Mountain Eight 4A/5A test on Friday, October 3. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 4-1. West Henderson won 47-0 in their recent league test against East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC)
