Kentucky High School Football - South Laurel routs Harlan County
September 26, 2025: London, KY 40744 The South Laurel Cardinals walloped the visiting Harlan County Black Bears football team by a score of 49-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cardinals face the Perry County Central Commodores (Hazard, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 3. South Laurel will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Commodores enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 40-21 non-league win over Paris (Paris, KY).
The Black Bears (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Corbin (Corbin, KY). The Redhounds come into the 4A District 8 outing with a 3-2 record.
