California High School Football - Hoover crushed by Vista

September 26, 2025: San Diego, CA 92115

The Vista Panthers overwhelmed the host Hoover Cardinals football squad by a margin of 42-0 in Friday's non-league test.

The Panthers now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Eastlake for a non-league test on Friday, October 3. Vista will meet a Titans squad coming off a 49-0 non-league loss to Point Loma (San Diego, CA). The Titans record now stands at 1-4.

With the defeat, Hoover drops to 2-3 on the year. The Cardinals host Crawford (San Diego, CA) to face the Colts in a City challenge on Friday, October 3. The Colts enter the challenge with a record of 1-4. Crawford lost 7-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA)
