In Friday's league match, the host Tippecanoe Valley Vikings football squad scored a decisive 33-0 triumph over the Jimtown Jimmies.

The Vikings (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Western (Russiaville, IN). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 5-1 record. In their last match, Western routed West Lafayette (West Lafayette, IN), 34-20, in a league match.

Next up, the Jimmies play the Knox Redskins (Knox, IN) in a Indiana Northern State battle, on Friday, October 3. Jimtown will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Redskins go into the battle with a 6-0 record after their 62-16 league win over LaVille (Lakeville, IN).
