Mahar Regional Senators (Orange, MA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Quaboag Regional Cougars (Warren, MA), 20-14 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Mahar Regional upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Senators host Athol (Athol, MA) to confront the Bears in a Intercounty - North match on Friday, October 3. The Bears enter the match with a record of 0-3. Athol lost 37-0 in their recent non-league match against Narragansett Regional (Baldwinville, MA)

Coming up next, the Cougars confront the Worcester Tech Eagles (Worcester, MA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 4. Quaboag Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
