Pennsylvania High School Football - Martins Ferry wallops Uniontown
September 26, 2025: Uniontown, PA 15401 The Martins Ferry Purple Riders football squad scored 49 points and limited the host Uniontown Red Raiders to 13 in the Purple Riders non-league victory on Friday.
In their next game, the Purple Riders face the Buckeye Local Panthers (Rayland, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 3. Martins Ferry will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 17-0 non-league loss to Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV).
The Red Raiders (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Ironton (Ironton, OH). The Fighting Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Ironton was ripped by Wheelersburg (Wheelersburg, OH), 24-15, in a non-league outing.
