September 26, 2025: McMinnville, OR 97128 The McMinnville Grizzlies football squad scored 40 points and limited the visiting McKay Royal Scots to 0 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Friday.
The Grizzlies now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty for a 6A Pacific test on Friday, October 3. McMinnville will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 44-27 non-league win over Beaverton (Beaverton, OR). The Falcons record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, McKay falls to 0-4 on the year. The Royal scots travel to Forest Grove (Forest Grove, OR) to face the Vikings in a 5A Special District 2 challenge on Friday, October 3. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Forest Grove lost 51-7 in their recent league challenge against Wilsonville (Wilsonville, OR)
