In Friday's non-league game, the Sheehan Titans (Wallingford, CT) football team were victorious over the visiting Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT), by a score of 40-14.

Next, the Titans clash with the Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT) in a Southern Connecticut outing, on Friday, October 3. Sheehan will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Spartans come into the outing with a 2-1 record after their 28-0 non-league win over Fitch (Groton, CT).

With the defeat, Pomperaug drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Bethel (Bethel, CT) to clash with the Wildcats in a South-West outing on Friday, October 3. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 1-2. Bethel won 31-7 in their recent non-league outing against Westhill (Stamford, CT)
