In Friday's non-league battle, the host Port Allegany Gators football team scored a tight 32-26 win over the St. Marys Flying Dutch.

With the win, Port Allegany advances its record to 6-0 on the season. The Gators travel to Brookville (Brookville, PA) to play the Raiders in a non-league battle on Friday, October 3. The Raiders go into the battle with a record of 2-4. Brookville won 41-20 in their recent non-league battle against Coudersport (Coudersport, PA)

The Flying Dutch now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Central Clarion [Clarion/Clarion-Limestone/North Clarion] for a District 9 Region 1 battle on Friday, October 3. St. Marys will play a team coming off a 35-14 league loss to Karns City (Karns City, PA). The record now stands at 2-4.
