California High School Football - Nevada Union defeats Antioch
September 26, 2025: Antioch, CA 94509 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) and the host Antioch Panthers (Antioch, CA), witnessed Nevada Union's football squad topple Antioch by a count of 34-16.
The Miners (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA). The Raging Rhinos enter the battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Twelve Bridges overcame Destiny Christian Academy (Sacramento, CA), 27-7, in a non-league battle.
The Panthers now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Freedom for a battle on Friday, October 3. Antioch will play a Falcons team coming off a 35-14 non-league win over Dublin (Dublin, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-1.
