The Monte Vista Christian Mustangs football team (Watsonville, CA), was topped 38-20 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Stevenson Pirates (Pebble Beach, CA)

With the win, Stevenson advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Pirates host Scotts Valley (Scotts Valley, CA) to encounter the Falcons in a non-league match on Saturday, October 4. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 0-4. Scotts Valley lost 20-8 in their recent non-league match against Soledad (Soledad, CA)

Coming up next, the Mustangs confront the Greenfield Bruins (Greenfield, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 3. Monte Vista Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
