North Carolina High School Soccer - Central Academy of Technology & Arts knocks off Scotland
September 26, 2025: Monroe, NC 28112 The Central Academy of Technology & Arts Cougars soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting Scotland Fighting Scots to 2 in the Cougars non-league victory on Friday.
The Cougars now have a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monroe for a Rocky River 4A/5A contest on Monday, September 29. Central Academy of Technology & Arts will face a Redhawks team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Redhawks record now stands at 6-5.
The Fighting Scots (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Rams enter the Tri-County 6A/7A challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Purnell Swett by Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC), 2-0, in a league challenge.
