North Carolina High School Soccer - Christian Family Academy knocks off University Christian
September 26, 2025: Conover, NC 28613 In Friday's non-league outing, the host Christian Family Academy Fire soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 win over the University Christian Barracudas.
The Fire (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Community Christian Academy (Bessemer City, NC). The Warriors enter the Western Piedmont 3A/4A outing with a 2-8 record. In their last outing, Community Christian Academy was overwhelmed by Lake Lure Classical Academy (Lake Lure, NC), 5-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Barracudas confront the Hickory Christian Academy Knights (Hickory, NC) in a test, on Tuesday, September 30. University Christian will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 8-6 record after their 5-0 league win over Statesville Christian (Statesville, NC).
