California High School Volleyball - Oakwood can't get by Cleveland
September 26, 2025: North Hollywood, CA 91601 Cleveland Cavaliers (Reseda, CA) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Oakwood Owls (North Hollywood, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Cleveland advances its record to 16-10 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA) to play the Chancellors in a West Valley challenge on Monday, September 29. The Chancellors go into the game with a record of 18-10. Chatsworth won 3-2 in their recent league game against Taft (Woodland Hills, CA)
The Owls (16-9) will now prepare for their game against Providence (Burbank, CA). The Pioneers go into the non-league game with a 15-4 record. In their last game, Providence nudged International School of Los Angeles (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
