Arizona High School Volleyball - Saguaro can't hold off Desert Ridge

In Friday's non-league match, the Desert Ridge Jaguars (Mesa, AZ) volleyball squad tipped the host Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ), by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Desert Ridge improves its record to 14-7 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Rancho (Las Vegas, NV) to encounter the Rams in a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. The Rams go into the battle with a record of 10-10. Rancho won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Chaparral (Las Vegas, NV)

The Sabercats now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mesquite for a 4A - Desert Sky contest on Monday, September 29. Saguaro will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Arvada West (Arvada, CO). The Wildcats record now stands at 16-3.
