California High School Volleyball - Yorba Linda can't get by Santa Monica
September 26, 2025: Yorba Linda, CA 92886 Santa Monica Vikings (Santa Monica, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Yorba Linda Mustangs (Yorba Linda, CA), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Santa Monica improves its record to 9-4 on the season. The Vikings travel to Rosary Academy (Fullerton, CA) to meet the Royals in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 27. The Royals come into the challenge with a record of 18-6. Rosary Academy won 3-1 in their recent league challenge against St. Margaret's (San Juan Capistrano, CA)
Next, the Mustangs meet the La Jolla Vikings (La Jolla, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 26. Yorba Linda will attempt to upgrade on its 13-9 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 3-1 league win over Lincoln (San Diego, CA).
