Holyoke Dragons (Holyoke, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Yuma Indians (Yuma, CO), 21-16 in a league challenge.

The Dragons now own a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Limon for a 3A District 4 challenge on Friday, October 3. Holyoke will battle a Badgers squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to St. Mary's (Colorado Springs, CO). The Badgers record now stands at 6-11.

With the loss, Yuma falls to 4-13 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Burlington (Burlington, CO) to battle the Cougars in a 3A District 4 challenge on Saturday, October 4. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 10-6.
