Georgia High School Softball - Morrow nudges Drew
September 27, 2021: Morrow, GA 30260 Morrow Mustangs (Morrow, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Drew (Riverdale, GA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tucker for a AAAAAA Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, September 28. Morrow will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 15-7 league loss to Lakeside (Atlanta, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-10.
With the loss, Drew falls to 0-13 on the campaign. The host Tri-Cities (East Point, GA) to battle the Bulldogs in a AAAAA Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, September 28. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-9. Tri-Cities lost 16-4 in their recent league challenge against Jonesboro (Jonesboro, GA)
