Georgia High School Softball - Westside loses to Oglethorpe County
September 27, 2021: Lexington, GA 30648 The Oglethorpe County Patriots softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Westside Patriots to 0 in the Patriots league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Oglethorpe County moves its record to 14-5 on the year. The Patriots host Putnam County (Eatonton, GA) to clash with the War Eagles in a AA Region 4 game on Monday, September 27. The War Eagles come into the game with a record of 7-8. Putnam County won 16-1 in their recent league game against Laney (Augusta, GA)
In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Josey Eagles (Augusta, GA) in a AA Region 4 game, on Wednesday, September 29. Westside will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 3-3 record after their 10-0 league win over Glenn Hills (Augusta, GA).
