September 27, 2021: Ridgeway, VA 24148 The Magna Vista Warriors (Ridgeway, VA) volleyball overcame the visiting Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA), 3-1 in Monday's non-league outing.
With the win, Magna Vista upgrades its record to 15-2 on the year. The Warriors host Halifax County (South Boston, VA) to face the Comets in a Piedmont outing on Tuesday, September 28. The Comets go into the outing with a record of 4-6. Halifax County won 3-0 in their recent league outing against George Washington (Danville, VA)
The Eagles now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Northside for a Blue Ridge outing on Tuesday, September 28. Franklin County will face a Vikings squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-7.
