Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Firebirds clash with the Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, October 3. Falls Lake will attempt to advance on its 9-1 season record. The Rockets come into the match with a 12-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Northwood (Pittsboro, NC).

With the loss, Franklin Academy drops to 5-5 on the campaign. The Patriots host North Raleigh Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC) to clash with the Knights in a non-league match on Thursday, September 29. The Knights come into the match with a record of 3-0.
