September 27, 2022: Durham, NC 27705 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion (Durham, NC) and the visiting Faith Christian Patriots (Rocky Mount, NC), saw Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill's soccer squad triumph over Faith Christian by a count of 6-0.
The Lion now hold a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Burlington Christian Academy for a NCISAA Triad test on Thursday, September 29. Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill will meet a Royals squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Carolina Friends (Durham, NC). The Royals record now stands at 2-9.
With the loss, Faith Christian drops to 3-9 on the season. The Patriots travel to Oakwood (Greenville, NC) to meet the Eagles in a NCISAA Carolina Independent 2A/1A test on Monday, October 3. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-7. Oakwood lost 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Epiphany (New Bern, NC)
