September 27, 2022: Hubbard, OH 44425 Hubbard Eagles (Hubbard, OH) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Girard Indians (Girard, OH), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Jefferson Area Falcons (Jefferson, OH) in a Northeast 8 challenge, on Thursday, September 29. Hubbard will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 7-0 league loss to Poland Seminary (Poland, OH).
The Indians now have a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Poland Seminary for a Northeast 8 challenge on Thursday, September 29. Girard will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 1-0 league win over South Range (Canfield, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-2.
