Georgia High School Softball - Brookwood gets by Newton
September 27, 2022: Covington, GA 30014 The Brookwood Broncos got by the host Newton Rams softball squad by a final score of 8-7 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Broncos (14-10) will now prepare for their battle against Wesleyan (Norcross, GA). The Wolves go into the non-league battle with a 18-2 record. In their last battle, Wesleyan nudged West Hall (Oakwood, GA), 8-0, in a league battle.
The Rams now possess a 3-15 record. They play next when they travel to Grayson for a 7A Region 4 outing on Thursday, September 29. Newton will battle a Rams team coming off a 12-4 league loss to Parkview (Lilburn, GA). The Rams record now stands at 10-10.
