September 27, 2022: Woodstock, GA 30188 Creekview Grizzlies (Canton, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA), 5-2 in a league challenge.
The Grizzlies now own a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodstock for a 6A Region 6 challenge on Thursday, September 29. Creekview will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Cherokee (Canton, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-8.
With the loss, River Ridge falls to 12-7 on the campaign. The Knights host Etowah (Woodstock, GA) to face the Eagles in a 6A Region 6 challenge on Thursday, September 29. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 4-9. Etowah won 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Sequoyah (Canton, GA)
