September 27, 2022: Narrows, VA 24124 The Covington Cougars volleyball team (Covington, VA), went down 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA)
The Green Waves (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA). The Fighting Blues come into the Pioneer challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Parry McCluer defeated Craig County (New Castle, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Cougars encounter the Highland Rams (Monterey, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 3. Covington will attempt to move on its 13-3 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Pendleton County (Franklin, WV).
