Colorado High School Volleyball - Trinidad over Raton
September 27, 2022: Trinidad, CO 81082 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Trinidad Miners (Trinidad, CO) and the visiting Raton Tigers (Raton, NM), saw Trinidad's volleyball squad beat Raton by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Trinidad upgrades its record to 5-6 on the year. The Miners host Buena Vista (Buena Vista, CO) to play the Demons in a 2A Southern Peaks bout on Saturday, October 1. The Demons enter the test with a record of 12-3. Buena Vista won 3-2 in their recent league test against Sanford (Sanford, CO)
The Tigers (5-7) will now prepare for their test against St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM). The Horsemen enter the 3A District 2 test with a 14-0 record. In their last test, St. Michael's gained a win over Santa Fe Prep (Santa Fe, NM), 3-0, in a league test.
