September 27, 2023: Peoria, AZ 85383 The Corona del Sol Aztecs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Liberty Lions to 0 in the Aztecs non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Aztecs now possess a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Queen Creek for a game on Thursday, September 28. Corona del Sol will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 league win over Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
The Lions (3-1) will now prepare for their game against O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles enter the game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, O'Connor defeated Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ), 2-0, in a league game.
