The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Father Ryan Irish (Nashville, TN) and the visiting Briarcrest Christian Saints (Eads, TN), witnessed Father Ryan's football squad topple Briarcrest Christian by a tally of 45-15.

The Irish (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Memphis University School (Memphis, TN). The Owls enter the Division II-AAA West contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Memphis University School was outscored by Ensworth (Nashville, TN), 42-3, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Saints confront the Christian Brothers Purple Wave (Memphis, TN) in a Division II-AAA West contest, on Friday, October 4. Briarcrest Christian will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Purple Wave enter the contest with a 3-2 record after their 41-0 non-league win over Fayette Ware (Somerville, TN).
